AquMonitor
Underwater AI cameras track fish growth and support precision feeding.

AI fish monitoring and water-quality alerts help farmers track growth, reduce feed waste and respond to risks sooner.

AquFish Technology is an award-winning Malaysian AgTech company modernizing Southeast Asian aquaculture through an asset-light, data-driven enablement platform. By combining smartphone-based AI computer vision (AquMonitor Lite) with continuous IoT water quality telemetry (AquSensor), AquFish empowers smallholder farmers and commercial hatcheries to track real-time biomass, eliminate harvest blind spots, and cut feed costs by up to 20%. AquFish operates an AgTech-as-a-Service (ATaaS) model that digitizes existing farms across Malaysia and the Mekong Delta, converting underwater data into actionable insights that de-risk institutional agricultural loans, optimize harvest schedules, and ensure food security.
Malaysian fish farmers face shrinking profit margins as fish feed costs continue to surge, accounting for up to 70% of total operational expenditure. This financial strain is compounded by extended harvest cycles and constant vulnerability to sudden, unmonitored water quality crashes that threaten entire stocks.
Operating blindly underwater leaves farmers trapped between rising overheads and devastating harvest losses.
To solve this, we developed a complete two-part precision intelligence suite: AquMonitor: A patent-pending underwater AI camera system that automates fish growth tracking and precision feeding, cutting feed waste by 20%, shortening harvest cycles, and drastically reducing manual labor. AquSensor: A real-time IoT water quality monitoring system acting as a proactive early-warning shield, alerting farmers to critical water parameter shifts before toxicity or oxygen drops can cause crop mortality.
